Senior Electrical Estimator
As ROCMEP continue to grow, we are looking to expand our Estimating division.
The right person will have a proven track record of tendering major projects – commercial, high-end residential, retail – and be comfortable producing tenders with values ranging from £0.5m to £10m. You will need to be electrically qualified, ideally to a HNC/HND level; Mechanical experience would be a bonus but not essential.

Senior M&E Planner
The planner will operate across the business with involvement on all live projects throughout London and the South Coast. The candidate must be able to produce complex programmes from the Pre-Construction Stage, which are accurate, viable and can be worked to by the on-site teams.
During the Construction Stage. the Planner will assist the Project Management Team; reviewing progress, identifying any risks to the project, and updating the programme to the relevant progress period.
In addition to the above, the Planner will assist the Commercial Team in forecasting spend on each project, and ultimately the company as a whole, from the labour loaded programmes produced.
- Develop Multi-discipline (M&E) Project Plans including the design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover stages.
- Visit Live Sites and Communicate with the Management Teams and Sub-contractors periodically to update the project programme, highlight any risks, look for efficiencies and drive the teams.
- Forecast Company Spend based on the produced programmes.
- Ensure any delays are mitigated or highlighted to the client as per the contract agreement via the issuing of regular programme updates.
Candidates must have experience in Residential M&E projects and/or Commercial Fit-out and be able to demonstrate a broad understanding of construction methods and sequences. ASTA Powerproject software if preferable although consideration will be given to previous use of similar software’s.
