M&E contractors for sport and leisure
Using green technologies to improve profitability.
ROCMEP are highly experienced in delivering M&E solutions to the sports, leisure and recreation sectors.
We’ve collaborated with gyms, leisure centres, theatres, and museums alongside various other recreational venues to help organisations improve their environmental impact and benefit from better buildings. Our work with national stadiums, including Twickenham and the London Stadium (formerly known as the Olympic Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park), means that we have the credentials to support all leisure-related M&E projects, however big or small.
Today’s leisure and recreational centres are increasingly complex.
Older, out-of-date buildings no longer draw crowds.
Leisure buildings must provide excellent customer experiences to continue operating.
Innovative and imaginative applications of contemporary technologies, such as intricate lighting designs, better ventilation, improved security cameras, or more advanced IT systems, may inspire repeat business from customers.
But figuring out how to combine these improved technologies with affordability and sustainability is a challenge.
At ROC, we can future-proof sports and leisure facilities by reducing any running costs and implementing enduring, environmentally friendly solutions using the latest M&E techniques.
We want to transform the world for the better. The first step in doing this is to concentrate on building better, more futuristic constructions that have low embodied carbon and are sustainable to operate.
With an improved built environment, clients can increase their profitability and seamlessly match changing customer expectations.
Whether you need a complete BMS system installed or simply need to review your electrical infrastructure in your changing rooms, our team of experienced M&E contractors are here to help with your project. We will collaborate with you and your stakeholders to deliver a result that matches your needs and gives you the flexibility to change in the future.
ROC has a proven track record of completing challenging multi-use projects on time and within budget.

London Stadium (formerly known as the Olympic Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park)
Client: Lloret Control Systems
Contract Value: £330,000
We were extremely proud to be involved in the development of the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic games. The stadium has proven to be a lasting contribution to British sport and a motivator for younger generations to get involved in new activities.
ROC was contracted to install a new BMS in the stadium. With the eyes of the world on the country through the duration of the Olympics, any M&E solution needed to combine innovation, creativity and sustainability. We feel tremendously privileged to have contributed to such an occasion and the building’s legacy.
Twickenham Stadium
Client: SES
Contract Value: £120,000
This is an example of where we have worked to complex logistical schedules. The stadium needed new electrical wiring to renovate the home and away changing rooms.
Due to the upcoming match schedules, we only had a two-day timeframe to deliver the project.
We completed the installation of the new electrical infrastructure in the allotted timeframe because of our thorough planning and coordination with the customer and other partners. To complete the project in time for the England Rugby team to arrive on Saturday, our team began working on-site on Thursday and finished on Friday.
It wasn’t easy, but we responded positively, and our teamwork and collaboration with the client enabled us to establish reasonable goals from the start.
