Spreading Christmas Joy with the Salvation Army

This year, our team came together to support the Salvation Army’s Christmas Present Appeal, collecting gifts to ensure children in need feel the magic of Christmas.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who contributed, we were able to donate a wonderful selection of toys, gifts, and vouchers. These will go directly to families facing tough times this holiday season, bringing smiles to children who might otherwise go without.

Well done to Salvation Army for all the incredible work they do to support our communities year-round. It’s a privilege to contribute to their mission.

And a huge thank you to everyone who supported this initiative—you’ve made a real difference. This is the true spirit of Christmas! ✨

ROCMEP taking part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day

We’re taking part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 12 December!

By pulling on our Christmassy knits and donating, we’ll be supporting children in the UK and around the world to keep safe, healthy, and learning. We’ll be helping them fight for the future they deserve.
Click here to donate £2 (or more if you’re feeling generous…) and it will go straight to Save the Children. The money we raise could go towards some amazing things like:

£2 could buy a packet of seeds for a family in Kenya to grow their own food, after drought has killed their crops.

£8 could buy a blanket to keep a child in Ukraine warm through winter.

£15 could pay for two weeks of super-powered peanut paste to help a child beat hunger.

£20 could buy enough supermarket vouchers for two children in the UK.

£40 could provide a family in Gaza with a Baby Kit to give them the items they need to provide basic care to their infant.

That’s why this year and every year, we tackle Movember for our dads, grandads, partners, brothers, sons, friends, and colleagues.

ROC Golf Day & Fundraiser 2024: A Huge Success!

We are thrilled to share the highlights of our recent ROC Golf Day and Charity Fundraiser!

The event, held at the stunning Hampton Court Palace Golf Club, was a huge success. The morning rain showers couldn’t dampen our spirits, and the afternoon turned out beautifully, giving us perfect weather for a great day of golf, networking, and celebration (and a few people wishing they had used the provided sunscreen!)

With enthusiastic participation from our valued clients, suppliers, and partners, the day was filled with friendly competitions, delicious food, and fantastic entertainment.

We are so pleased to report that our charity raffle in support of Evelina London Children’s Charity was a real success; thanks to the generosity of our suppliers donating prizes and the sale of raffle tickets on the day, we have raised £1,565 so far! If you would like to make an additional donation or if you missed the opportunity to contribute on the day, you can still do so through our JustGiving page here.

Once again, thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. Your participation and enthusiasm made it a day to remember.

Tackle uses the power and popularity of football to deliver HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services to young people on football pitches across the continent.

ROCMEP proud to support the Lighthouse Club

We are delighted to announce we are officially a company supporter of the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, the only charity that provides mental, physical, and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and their families.

Their 24/7 Helpline provides a range of free and confidential support services, complimented by their free Helpline App which offers expert guidance on a huge variety of wellbeing issues.

 

We will soon be sharing Helpline Packs and Resources to each our of sites and office locations, so our teams the important contact numbers should they need it for themselves or others around them. 


We look forward to continuing to share the message about Mental Health and make as many people as possible know they can always reach out when things get a little too much.

ROC attend Charity Event for Gray to Sunny Day

As the ‘Golf Day season’ comes to a close, we have ended on a high – playing in the Gray to Sunny Day’s 1st Annual Golf Day & Charity Ball, which raised a grand total of £14,500.00 👏

The charity uses this money to provide gifts, experiences and grants to make memories for families affected by cancer.

We have all been affected by cancer at some point in our lives. Click here to find out more information about help and support Gray to Sunny Day can offer 💛
