SEXY FISH: The ROC MEP Team Brings Richard Caring’s New Restaurant to Life

With the help of ROC’s powerhouse of Electrical, Mechanical and Solutions services, West End dining and clubs tycoon Richard Caring has just opened a luxurious new Asian-styled fish restaurant and cocktail bar, with a name sure to turn heads: SEXY FISH.

The new hot ticket in London is SEXY FISH, situated over the road from other ROC MEP projects: Berkeley Square’s Annabel’s and Mayfair’s Mark’s Club, both of which were also created by Richard Caring.

If you’ve been strolling around Mayfair sometime within the last couple of months, you may have noticed the visage of a gigantic neon shark adorned across the hoardings of a site under construction, a strange sight, even for London. Behind this bizarre image, ROC MEP’s expert team were busy installing SEXY FISH’s M&E systems.

Fittingly enough, ROC MEP has already had a hand in the service installations of a number of these exclusive hotspots, including Mayfair’s 34 Grosvenor Square, Electric House on Portobello Road and more of Mr. Caring’s restaurant locations, notably J Sheekey and the world-famous celebrity hangout The Ivy in Covent Garden. Due to the excellent relationship established during these past projects, and the highest quality of work ROC MEP has provided to Mr. Caring in the past, it is no surprise that we were chosen once more to accommodate his needs once more. This vital relationship was brought about by our friends at Arcacia Consulting, who introduced Caprice Holdings and Richard Caring to ROC MEP’s services in the first place.

On this project ROC MEP worked hand in hand with Maurice Brill Lighting Design and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio to create a stunning internal atmosphere, as well as setting up gas, plumbing, heating, access control, phone lines and data cabling to support the vital booking system. All of these systems have been put through their paces since the doors of SEXY FISH opened up to the public.

ROC MEP’s Operations Director, Cahal McNicholl, said: “Working on projects such as SEXY FISH is very important to us and to be part of developments like this continues to raise our profile.” Cahal added: “At ROC MEP we always strive to deliver what the client asks for, ensuring that each job has the wow factor.”
