Declan’s daughter, Poppy Roche, is taking on an extraordinary opportunity through World Challenge, an educational expedition program that empowers young people to step outside their comfort zones and make a meaningful impact around the world.
In July 2026, Poppy will travel to Eswatini — a small but mighty nation in southern Africa, rich in tribal culture and biodiversity. As part of her World Challenge expedition, she’ll engage in community and conservation work, experience local life beyond the tourist track, and develop life skills that will stay with her forever.
This is more than just a school trip — it’s a powerful journey of personal growth, contribution, and leadership. Every day in Eswatini will bring new challenges and learning moments, in a setting that demands courage, empathy, and a global mindset.
